Purcell’s Seafood approached us to revitalize the branding of their fourth-generation oyster farm. We began with an in-depth brand study and competitive audit. After which, we developed a new logo, packaging, website and brand standard for Purcell’s Seafood that reflected their lifestyle as generational watermen and conservationists.
Purcell’s Seafood
Purcell’s Seafood started in 1972. They still grow oysters on private grounds, the traditional way, utilizing the natural bars on the bottom of Chesapeake Bay.
When we began their brand identity development, we focused on incorporating elements of their lifestyle, their passion for the outdoors and the traditional ethos of Virginia Watermen. We were honored to spend time on their farm dredging oysters, capturing photo and video and helping them build a robust and unique e-commerce branch of their business.
